I am slightly obsessed with eyeliners. I think I can confidently say I have tried probably 70-80% of drugstore eyeliners and now I am moving on to the ones you can find in Sephora.
I have a list of 3 eyeliners I’d like to mention. These 3 are the ones I liked the most and have bought again (and again and again )
1. Essence: Eyeliner Pen
This eyeliner pen is really good for someone that wants to practice on their winged liner. It is easy to use and it is very affordable ( I think about $2.50- 3 CAD). It has a felt tip and the best part (also the worst part) it washes off really easily. I remember when I initially started practicing, I hated tugging on my skin to remove my mistakes. With this eyeliner, I can wipe it off easily, just with water. Having said that, it sucks if you get stuck while its raining, or you accidentally wipe it off. I still like this eyeliner because of its price and if im only going out for a few hours or running an errand, it works great.
2. Kat Von D: Tattoo Liner
The tip of this eyeliner is DA BOMB. Its not a felt tip, it almost feels like a brush. You can get the thinnest line with this. Its super black and has good staying power. If you can spend $23 CAD on an eyeliner, I would definitely recommend this. Having said that, I still need to try a few other mid/high end liners to compare.
3. Maybelline: Line Stiletto
Here we are, my favorite eyeliner of all times! I promised myself to not write 2-3 pages worth of praises for this product, so I will try not to bore you guys.
I love this product. It has a felt tip, its very easy to use. It does not dry out, I think L’oreal and a few other brands have a similar product which I have tried and none of them come close to this. It stays put, its very black. All the things you need in an eyeliner, its less costly than the Kat Von D tattoo liner as well. About $8.78 CAD on the Canadian Walmart website.
If you havent given this a try, do try it and let me know your experiences. I know everyone has their own preferences so you might not like it, but I think its definitely worth a try.
