I adore this look!
Let me explain the title before I get to my outfit. My husband, a friend and I went to a driving range at a golf club this past weekend. This was my first time doing any sort of golf related activity. Im not going to lie, I wasn’t super excited. To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. There were quite a lot of people, kids included. I wasn’t able to take any pictures at the golf course itself, so we drove by outside and made a road stop (literally on the road – don’t worry, it was empty) to get some shots.
I don’t categorize myself as someone who can play sports well. The first few times I just laughed at myself because I wasn’t able to hit the golf ball, at all. I just thought, hey! you just go, swing the club and thats about it. But no, hitting the ball is much harder than it looks. I also didn’t think it required much physical strength, but yet again, I was wrong. We were there for around 3 hours and when you are swinging the club for near 3 hours, you don’t realize until the next day how sore you can get. Moral of the story, don’t underestimate any sports activity (and use gloves if you are planning to go to a driving range).
Ok, now on to my look. The purple lips and hair tied is something totally out of my comfort zone, but I really liked how it turned out.
Heels: Kurt Geiger – can you believe I own pink heels, I shock myself sometimes
Clutch: Michael Kors
Sunglasses: High Keys – Desi Perkins collab with Quay Australia ( IM OBSESSED!). They might be a tad bit (okay, really big) for my face but I just love them.
This is the only ‘decent’ picture I can share of my makeup. I opted for high color lipgloss ‘Bitter Sweet’ by Urban Decay. For my eyes I did a matte brown crease with a very light shimmery shadow for the lid. Kept the eyes simple because of the bold lips.
